At a recent reunion celebrating the 50th anniversary of our high school graduation, several of us who are no longer married were having breakfast together. One of the ladies finished eating and left the table. Noticing the dirty dishes, the waitress turned to my friend sitting next to the empty chair and asked “Will your wife be coming back?” Without skipping a beat he replied, “I don’t think so. She left 25 years ago.”
