- I'm a retired USAF officer and airline pilot. Now that I no longer fly professionally, I own and operate an online used book store. A typical day will find me browsing through thrift shops searching for used books for my store. Every once in a while I find a BIG "literary nugget" that has real value. In an effort to give back to my community, I am involved in homeless feeding and pantry ministries through my church. I spend my leisure time writing, traveling and trying to capture beautiful digital photo images of anything and everything, but especially of my precocious granddaughter, Logan.
